The beauty pageant for senior citizens, Ms Old Is Gold is turning 6. Participants of at least 60 years and older take part in the showcase, which the organisers are reluctant to call a competition, as everyone is a winner.

For the 6th edition, tickets can be bought from DoFA management, and they can also direct you to their agents across Sierra Leone. Ms Old Is Gold is empowering for the senior citizens, as it gives some the chance to live out some of their childhood dreams that remained unfulfilled.

The pageant is on Saturday, 10th October 2026 and is hosted in partnership with the Freetown City Council at the FCC Auditorium in Freetown. Mayor Aki-Sawyerr is a key supporter of the event and DoFA thank her for her contribution to a successful event.

For sponsorship and other types of support, call Doreen at DoFA today. If you live in the Central Business District or can make it there, then visit DoFA at 5 Albert Street, off Circular Road.
