The Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs (MLGCA) notifies the public that induction of Mayors, District Chairpersons and Councillors of Local Council shall commence on 8th August 2023, nationally.

All Local Councils will be notified of specific itinerary which will be made public, and the program of events will be shared with the Chief Administrators of the respective Councils

The Honourable Vice President of Sierra Leone, Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, who is the Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Local Government will officiate the induction ceremonies.

The Dads Space team at the Javan Coker Foundation is hosting FREE drop in chat sessions.

The goal is to chat about the challenges our Dads are facing, and support them with viable solutions and signposting.

Everyone is welcome, particularly single Moms who are playing the role of Dads in the lives of their children.

Dads Space Chat Space starts on Wednesday 1st May and ends on Saturday 4th May 2024.

Program runs on each of the days from 1pm to 6pm.
